The seventh trumpet is the third and final woe.
"15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, 'The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!'" Rev 11:15
The kingdom of God has been completed. Every person who was willing to repent and worship Jesus has spiritually entered into His kingdom. This is the kingdom of heaven which will last forever and will never be destroyed. In just a few days God’s people will be able to physically enter into His kingdom.
"16 And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying: 'We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was and who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power and reigned. 18 The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, And the time of the dead, that they should be judged, And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, And those who fear Your name, small and great, And should destroy those who destroy the earth.'" Rev 11:16-18
God had been offering salvation to people for the last 6,000 years. Anyone who repented and had faith in Jesus was accepted into the kingdom of heaven. The invitation of salvation ended just before the seventh trumpet began to sound. Probationary time – time when people could choose to worship God or Satan – is over. There is no second chance. Each person has made his final decision whether to worship Jesus or Satan.
God told the prophets that just before the sounding of the seventh trumpet the mystery of God would be finished. God’s ability to save people would come to an end. This is because the people who refused to worship God have irrevocably chosen to worship Satan.
"7 in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished." Revelation 10:7
The mystery of God is His ability to save people. This is completed just before the seventh trumpet sounds.
From His throne in the temple of heaven, God speaks and says,
"11 He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still." Rev 22:11
Each person has chosen to worship Jesus or Satan. If he is worshiping Jesus he is clothed with the holiness and righteousness of Jesus. If he is worshiping Satan, he is unjust and filthy, permeated by sin. Either way, his condition is fixed for eternity.
"19 Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail." Rev 11:19
This is the second worldwide earthquake. People on earth will be able to see into the temple in heaven. They will see God’s ten commandments in the ark. They will realize that the entrance into God’s kingdom is based on a willingness to keep all ten of God’s commandments. They will feel the earthquake and hail. They will hear the noises and thunder and they will see the lightning.
